Has anyone used or tried the Fan Shroud for the 22" radiator that's currently on the market from multiple suppliers.

It's for my '68 RR

Is it worth it ?
Fit ?
Installation problems ?

I'm looking at this to help cooling of my engine without the use of electric fans.

Thanks

I've always found a fan shroud to be a cooling improvement, and have added several over the years.
My current '68 RR, 22" rad, has the metal shroud, which may be a reproduction as it's mint.
It came on the car, so I can't be sure about that but I'd bet on it.
Fits fine, no evidence of it being modified to fit.

Can you post a picture? I am trying to find the shroud for mine as well.
Thanks!

I don't have a clear shot of it. Lots of photos on Google though.
It's 2-pieces (upper & lower), metal.
Dante's, Van's, Classic Industries all sell them, though prices vary widely, which could also pertain to quality and/or fit.

I seen one on Dantes web site. The ad says "Injection molded with all of the details of an original part." and the one on Brewers says "Made from 16 ga. steel like original and powder coated low gloss black".

The Brewers site says two piece. Is you metal one two piece?

$70.00 more at Brewers but metal.

I too would be interested in any photo's

Thank
Frank

oops. just seen your google comment

How do the side brackets fit? I have the shroud, but I don't see how it fits with the brackets.
