I looked a bit for a post before starting this, so I apologize if a thread exists.

Great set of videos on these great Mopars and a Shelby that a guy was given the job to sell for a widow.

Fun question/mental exercise. If you had inherited this collection, and had to sell some to finance the restoration of those you just had to keep, what would your selection be?

I keep the Shelby, the Challenger and the 500. every one of these cars has awesome traits that would make outstanding restored cars.

Second question to this specific video- if you contracted with a guy to safe keep and get your collection of nearly half million dollar value cars up for sale? would you have second thoughts after seeing the poor preparation and methods used to load these cars?

honestly, i am getting older and the time to properly restore these gems, then not being really able to use them to their fullest after the restorations doesn't appeal to me like in the past. i would probably sell everything. then buy a new demon, drive it like i stole it. then build a old car with modern drivetrain with a supercharged 3rd gem hemi that can handle and stop like modern muscle cars. the older car would be something that hasn't been built this way. flame me if you want but my first choice would be 81-82 imperial or a cordoba LS. second choice would be a 71 sport fury or possibly a 300, both would be 2 door cars. 3rd choice would be a 3rd gen B body like a 71-72 charger.

as far as transporting them. this is how they were hauled when they were new. why not now. at least they used a flat bed to load on the top row. the cars need to be restored what more damage will they get?

That 1970 Coronet R/T 6 pack is really cool. 1971 hemi Challenger, wow. blue SHELBY BB 4 speed = awesome.
The 1969 500 is first to be sold, green with A/C.

Richard should grab a shower so he doesn’t have to scratch his face and pet his hair so much. They were 10 seconds in, why not start over? Also study up on Chargers, all R/T’s and 1969 500’s are big block cars, it’s nothing special.

The transport guys need to be digging ditches, jeez. They hooked the tow strap to the front bumper guard on the Challenger. Pulling down won’t get the Coronet to go up the ramp.
No they didn’t do this crap to them when they hauled them new.

I had to fast forward a lot to get through that, but that is some of the most ignorant car loading I have ever seen.

I was in Tucson MANY times from 1984-1992, & never heard of a collection like this. I had a brush with an F5 '69 RR 440+6 though - a 4-speed bench car - a driver condition car. This was around 1985-86 - could have bought it for $3500.00. I wonder whatever happened with that car???

Anyway, RIP to the owner of these cars - I'm sure he loved them & would have never turned them loose.

Out here in the dust bowl there are many many barns full of classic muscle cars, then behind them its rows of 40-s cars then its the ones from the 20-s when they first came here.

Ive seen better then in this vid locally , these looked to of been obtained later in the stash game by there clapped out condition. But still a huge plus to the hobby.
