Id buy it for 7k, considering they were not much more then 11k new.

Not a good car in any form, performance or quality. Its bad when you bought a stock replacement cam from napa and it says NO WARRANTY due to design issues.

Sub standard butal? tape holding plastic on.......

Clutches that might last 30k.

Low profile 50 series tires, not in sync with roads of the time period. Id never hit a hole and blow one tire, it was always both on that side.

The best thing is they are well balanced, 60-90 mph, jerk the wheel and apply park break...... 1.2 or 3 perfect 360 nascar like spins and hardly scrub any speed.

Brakes and rotors to match the rest of the mess. Had them on fire often

But after all that, id still go for 7K.

Great for reverse donuts!

I had an '87 Charger 2.2.

Neat looking little car but the biggest $hitbox ever.

Like the color. Cool for the era.

Door dings, undocumented mileage, not so good paint. No way on price, but then that's typical for that dealership.

Facts are stubborn things.

Bought one 3 months old and still have it thought it sat in a field since 1999 when I quit driving it after my wife drove it for 10 years, what a great car! She was pissed when I bought here a brand new Saturn SC2 automatic, she really missed the turbo and the 5-speed... LOL

I don't think I've ever seen one of those cars without factory A/C.
No cruise control, regardless of what the add says.
Sunroof is a shame. Most aftermarket sunroofs I've seen are hacked up roof leaks.
Add says TTops ?! LOL! rolleyes

there aren't any pics to be sure but i think it has a factory sunroof, not aftermarket. i do see a storage bag in the back. i don't think aftermarket ones have that.

Was there a factory sunroof option in 86?
It sure looks aftermarket. Some of the corners look slightly raised and it looks like the roof isn't entirely flat around it.
Most factory sunroofs I have seen have more reinforcement welded in around the periphery to keep the roof flat and sealing.
I may be wrong ... shruggy I'm wrong a lot.
Just ask my wife! drumhit

couldn't tell you 100% if the sunroof is factory or not.
there aren't any good pics of the roof or the inside to tell.
from what i see it looks to be much larger than the cheap pop up roofs they installed at the time.
i worked at a CP dealership when that car was new. i know we sent out more than 1 car to have sunroofs installed. there were 2 different styles. a cheap pop up that always leaked soon after. and a pretty good power sunroof that was much larger and really didn't leak much. this one doesn't look like either of the ones i describe. i am sure there were more than what i know of.

with the poor pics my guess is the sunroof looks to me like the ones that had the round turn knob at the rear of the glass. the glass was removable as well. i think this one has that one from seeing the color coded bag in the back of the hatch. i always thought this was a factory sunroof.
i could be wrong on that point as well.

That is a factory sunroof as it looks just like mine, still have the factory bag. I had one of each color at one time, blue, silver, black, and maroon all had A/C and factory sunroofs... twocents
