I bought this 64 Fury 426 wedge car, 19,000 original miles with a factory 4 spd . Can anyone tell me if this car is rare. Or know where I can obtain info on these cars. Production numbers, anything thanks in advance.

Wow cool car looks very nice converted to electronic Ignition and dual master but otherwise looks original. There are no exact build numbers for 64 but definitely pretty rare based on 65 production I would guess less than 500 made. Based on the one picture I would estimate low 30 s. Do you have any other documentation.

I don't believe the Street version of the 426 came with the 4 bolt covers as they did not have the max wedge heads. Please feel free to correct me if i am wrong. beer

As to value I would guess mid 30's as previosly mentioned provided the bottom side looks as good. IMO the color combination doesn't help it, but I'm not a light blue person either smile

Car deserves its own post (I'll assume for now it's "real"), glad that got done.
I'd bet it's quite rare, especially with the 4-speed; certainly not a common sight even at Mopar shows.
I've seen several 426SW/4-speed Belvederes, a few Sport Furys, but not a Fury.
I'd like to see the fender tag, and to be honest I'm not sure about the 4 vs 6 bolt VC but thought all were 4 until they went to 6.
I suppose that could be answered by pulling the VC and looking at dates on the heads.

6-bolt VC's came out in late '63 model year (12-4-'62).

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but its getting harder and harder for me to find one now.
