Info links no longer cancels. Info links is the worst ad stuff I've ever encountered. I come here for information not to be blasted with ads for stuffing have no intrest in. If this is the way it's going to be. My years here are gone.

talking about infolinks on here is a good way to get banned, what used to be a good website is so cluttered with garbage ads that you have to have apps and software to stop it is a shame....whoop....my turn is next

No one has been banned for posting about infolinks.

Absolutely, it works great. I just wish I could get it on my Kindle.

At least on conventional PCs, the infolinks thing has gotten less obtrusive for me, just a little box on bottom of the screen that is easy to ignore. On my iPads its a pain though, covers close to half of the lower part of the screen. I'm not sure how to block that type of crap on iPads.
I've been getting a new irritating type of popup recently both here and on another car enthusiast forum, where I click on a thread and a full page ad comes up occasionally, I can back arrow and click the thread again and then it's OK. This is an example I got there this morning.

On an iPad the “opt-out” cancel link is still there if you scroll down looking for it near the bottom of the writing.

Unfortunately, you can successfully Opt Out if Moparts is the only website you visit who deals with Infolinks,
but if you visit another website that is also getting paid by Infolinks,
that second visit over writes the opt-out tracking cookie
and next time you visit Moparts the Infolinks banners will appear again.

I was an AdBlock Plus holdout until about 2 months or so ago. I finally caved and since then it has blocked over 91,000 items. Seriously, get it.

uBlocker for Chrome on PC - no more infolinks and even kills the ads in youtube vids.

i have had addblock plus for ages, and it works great.
however, i have never seen the opt out screen for infolinks.
what does it look like ?
at the beginning of this infolink fiasco, occasionally i would see a flash of a big blue checkmark at the top of the page, but never seen anything i could "opt out" of.
so what does the "opt out" infolink page look like ?

I have ad block on my lap top. Haven't been able to use it on the phone. Hell I cant even finish typing a post without this crappy info links in the way. It is absolutely the worst I've ever encountered.
