Hi. Can I still use my stock studs with remflex gaskets on a 1970 440 Engine? Any help would be appreciated!

AI agree too. When you tighten the studs the gasket will compress to the thickness of a regular gasket. No problem there.

Yep I ran Remflex gaskets on my 440 plymouth B-body with headers and studs. I even had to trim (shorten) a few of the studs so the headers would go on, but there was still plenty of stud left to accommodate the extra thickness of the Remflex.

Never had another header exhaust leak after I put the Remflex's on. And I never had any coolant leaks due to the studs (vs. bolts). Install was a little tougher, though. As mentioned, do not over-torque the Remflex's, and be careful handling them--they are brittle.
