It's been probably ten years since we have been to Ohio for the Nats. I finally have off from work. Is this still a pretty good show? Attendance still pretty high? It's a 11 hour drive for me so I thought I would ask everybodies opinion on the current state of the show. And yes I figure the Covid crap will probably screw it all up this year. Thanks

Yes, it's still a good show. It's not as big as it it used to be. The areas to the south and west of the track that used to be parking have been sold. It's now farm land. The "judged" car show area to the west of the track is now parking. All show cars are on the east side now.(not a big deal as every year there were less and less cars on the west side anyway) The show seemed like it was dying a slow death for quite a few years. Recently though, it seems like there are more cars and people.(still not what it was during it's heyday) The cruising on Brice Road is pretty dead although some people still go there. Last year the owners of the Burger King/O'Reilly's parking lot started charging people $10 to park there. Cruising moved to Heath but that has pretty much dried up too. Last year we went to Buckeye Lake and the cruising was great. I know there were some posts afterword about the town trying to put a stop to it though. It will be interesting to see what happens there this year.

As was stated already, it's still a decent show.
Yes, it's smaller, but still a pretty good amount of cars.

There are obviously more late model Challengers these days than there used to be.
As everyone gets older it's a lot easier to take a long trip like that in a newer Challenger than an old musclecar.

Personally I think that the judged show car count had dropped quite a bit.
It could be that crowd is worried about driving their cars and hurting the "investment value" by driving it or exposing it to the public. laugh2

Good Guys is held at the State Fairgrounds, the Nats are at a privately owned track. That is what I am thinking

Exactly...

He finally got online printed the form via online, But as of today has not received anything back.

Anymore it's usually in at least mid July before the registration packets show up.

We were beginning to wonder if they were going to even cash the entry registration check. laugh2

We mailed it in early June and it usually gets deposited/cashed right away, it wasn't until a few days ago that it went through.
