I'm seeing way more adds on this site since my home computer did a unwanted Microsoft edge software update last week, is it only me?
Are all of them Google? If so mods please block them

I think Amazon & Google are battling for world domination, and they're using advertising to beat us into submission.

I run Firefox and AdBlocker+ on my PC, but the ad-bastards run ads on most sites' sidebars like crazy.
No Moparts on my Smartphone; I gotta cut you guys SOME slack...

MS decided to put Edge on my laptop. I uninstalled it and when they asked why I cussed them out.

Turned off automatic updates, now it has to ask and I will review.

Yes, More adds since last week. This site is about useless anymore!! Between all the adds , and having to log back in all the time!!!!

i run firefox. with adblock plus and ublock origin.

the only ads i have ever seen in the last 2 years are the 3 at the top of the page.
my desktop is the only computer i use to surf the web and basically the only computer i own.

i do occasionally hit a link to a article i want to read. i get a popup on that site that says i use a popup blocker and must turn it off to read the article. i just go back and not read the article.

I use adblocker plus on my iPad, and have not seen one single ad since. Now logging in on a regular basis is new.

If only some of the drop out Luddites would do the same thing, it could be like old times.

It is a shame as this site has plenty of knowledgeable people and plenty of technical info. I rarely visit the site anymore because I can’t see the content for the ads. I prefer to use an iPad and do not use a laptop or desktop. If you make it a pain for people they will find another place to land. I believe the days are numbered for this site. Again, it’s a shame that it has come to this. I visit the forbbodiesonly.com site several times daily. I see more and more former Moparts members there as the time moves on.

This site has been here a long time and will be here for a lot longer. I'm sure you could find an ad blocker for your Ipad if you looked.

its taken over on my pc. ipad isnt so bad but i think moparts needs a new forum template as this one sucks. i have been here for 21 years and find myself going to other forums now just because the other pages are not 70% ads and popups.

Did you not read the multiple posts on how to stop the ads?

Open edge click on 3 dots top right and click extensions add adblock plus

I've been using Ad Block Plus for years(on Chrome) I have no idea how some of these guys surf the web without it. Ads are annoying on almost all web pages not just here. My buddy showed me a Youtube clip the other day, ad in the beginning and one in the middle. I said [censored] is that....I had no idea because I never see them. If I go to a site that asks me to turn off my Ad Block, I just leave.
The last time I had a computer virus(a number of years back) it was linked(by the IT folks at my job)to an ad on this very site. They are the ones to recommend switching to Chrome(w/Adblock Plus) and avoid IE. Zero issues since then.

IE? It's running somewhere in the background, but I never open it.... at least not on purpose.

I "never" get any ad's ,you guys have been told a thousand times to run Ad Block Plus ,when will you learn ?
