Beware this website. I had a really rough 1968 Charger for sale on eBay. He contacted me about the car at one point, asked a ton, of questions, but wanted to low ball the price. He did say he was in the business of flipping cars. I am selling the car to someone who also contacted me about the car when it was on eBay but another sale was pending at the time. While discussing it last week, he alerted me that the car was /is listed on the ClassicChasers.com website. Sure enough, they have my Charger listed. Dirty pool in my opinion. Recommend avoiding them. Thanks.
B3 1969 Charger R/T SE, 440/727 with 3:91s running 11.07@120

Edited the business model for Amazon: [Amazon] takes this approach as well. [They sell stuff] on [the internet] ... and many times [Amazon] would advertise [stuff] they didn't have. .. They [sell stuff] ... and have the ... seller mail it to their customer. - Art

File a copyright complaint with their registrar (godaddy.com). Here is the link: https://supportcenter.godaddy.com/Infringement/IndexThey might get their entire website taken down if they do not respond correctly to a DMCA copyright complaint. The violation is the picture - you own the copyright. They won't care about the other sleazy issues - not covered by the law.

when i was selling my 72 RR i had several dealers try to do the same and a few something similar. they would contact me and say they wanted to buy it. but could only give me a very small deposit, $50, to hold it until they could pick it up. i didn't have a problem with it because the sale wasn't going very good for me. they had a big problem with me insisting on giving them a deadline to pick it up and pay for it, less than 1 month, or they would loose the deposit. what they were trying to do is get exclusive legal access to sell it, have me hold it for unlimited amount of time while they attempted to re-sell it for profit while giving me next to nothing for doing it. one dealer took my pics and advertised it on their site for $40K over my ask price just like car c is doing. another one took my pics, without authorization, advertised it and then tried charging me to advertise it. needless to say when i insisted on seeing a signed contract authorizing such charges, they didn't get very far.

I am not taking sides here but it could be viewed from another perspective. Why would this be an issue if you agree to sell the car to them as a buyer for an agreed price? They are simply promoting your product. this is pretty spot on. as long as you get your price, who cares if someone else makes a few $$ for selling it for you. as long as you don't have to pay anything for the advertising. for the most part you are getting free advertising on your car. the key element is don't let yourself get locked into a exclusive deal with them that somehow ends up costing you $$.
