Went to the Cecil Street car shootout this month. Right off the trailer went 4.91 @ 141 . Added .5* of timing. Picked up about .6 mph from last month. The air actually was a little worse than last month. 60 foot picked up to 1.16. next couple passes it spun because i kept trying to put more to it early. I guess i should not try to go so fast on such hot days with track temps over 100* LOL
I ended up #16 and had to race number one qual first round. He spun bad, i had some really bad tire shake, but managed to pedal it once to go a 5.19. Lost in the second round, but overall im happy. Car should go in the 80's even in horrible conditions. (3300ft 112water grains)

Literally no heat on the straps yet , so I’m just going to keep adding timing until it doesn’t pick up any mph .

Sounds like the winter changes are showing some great promise for sure. Awesome to see it coming around for you.

NO , not another new best E T .....

But I have found one issue . Most of my weight reduction has been from the driver seat rear wards . Now finally
Got it on some scales and .... whoooaaa we got a little too much on the front , 56.6% up front . So I’m either going to have to add about 66lbs to the rear ( got me to 54.5%) or get some weight off the front . Looks like I may just have to lighten or replace my STOCK front suspension after all .... lol
Hopefully the 66lbs bandaids it for now and I make it down every time
