Waiting for my pulley set to show up, a buddy offered a Moroso kit, (electric motor/toothed belt and pulleys) to use in the mean time. I think this is drag race stuff, my concern is how long you can run this little motor? Would it live for a one or two hour drive? If it overheats and dies I’m stopped. Pulleys should be here in a couple weeks but it’s driving season.

Oh yeah, it's a hybrid.....it burns gas and tires!

You might give it a try. I had one on my race car years ago and it did not seem to move a lot of water or air but worked okay for a drag car.

Maybe you can find another friend to loan you a spare motor.

I was told that the Moroso and Mr Gasket used the same motor which was for 1964/1965 Mustang heater blower motors.
There are two different size water pump pulleys, I have both. I use mine for dyno testing my motors up
As far as using them on the street it depends on how much power and how good the cooling system is on how they work shruggy
Try it and hope whistling grin

Thanks Cab, if that’s the case should be no issue with it running for an extended time (like a blower motor). Gonna try a few longer drives. It’s hot here now, last couple drives temp was running about 170-190 with no issues. Let you know.

I don't think it will move enough water for a 1 hour drive unless its only stop light to stop lite. Extended highway drive would be a challenge for that slow moving pump twocents
