Myself, if the car is not modified beyond putting it back to original and if it is, freshen it up and have fun with it the way it is.
if you want a 900+ hp car I'd start with something else possibly even one of the newer challenger offerings, It will likely be a lot cheaper in the long run. twocents beer

i have found the above to be true for many, many years.
unless a guy has something of an emotional attachment [i have owned my charger since 1970, and my humpback project since '73 or so], a guy is really ahead saving up longer, then buying someone else's [almost] completed project, taking advantage of spending pennies on the dollar, obtaining a bigger [huge ?] bang for the buck.
i have proven this by obtaining several [almost completed] project vehicles for close friends.
this really sinks in when a person possibly lacks the tools or skills needed to obtain the object desired.
just my opinion and experience of over 50+ years playing with this "stuff" , nothing more.

I agree, To make a 69 Dart capable of running 900-1000 HP then the unibody must be braced, tubbed, caged, and completely updated, you would be major bucks ahead finding a roller already built and certified to handle that kind of power. Besides, a 340 4-speed Dart is a very desirable car stock, you may be able to trade your body for one ready to go... twocents

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.
