The TM7 is more of a race manifold, not so good on lower RPM use, same thing on the Torquer and Torquer 2 intakes Tell us more about the motor and the car you will use this motor in and the type of driving you want it to run good in? BTW, I don't know the carb your referring to

I have never been a fan of the edelbrock 750 carb. They always seem to run rich, no matter how much you tune them. I think the 800Cfm Avs is a great carb for even moderate 440โs. Also the Eddy RPM is a fantastic Manifold! Have fun!

Personally, I'd look for a spread-bore manifold to use with a good Thermoquad.

That carb is junk. That intake is for race applications. You'd be much happier with a CH4B and a Holley 750HP carb. This!!! The CH4B is a great manifold! Awesome if you have hood clearance issues. I still love the Eddy 800 AVS carb. Mike

I agree on the Holley Street Dominators. One of the best manifolds even though it is a single plane.

The CH4B manifolds were good back in the 70's, I had one on my 68 Charger R/T. Technology has come a long way since then. The Performer RPM is hands down a better intake. I run one on a mild 440 with a Holley 750 and it's a flawless set-up. I think the OP would be very happy with the results. I know that. I have used the RPM very good intake however they are not cheap...and depending on his hood he'd need a drop base for the air cleaner.
