I just found some info from an expert on the 67 RO 23 cars that says this is the original distributor for use in these cars with the presto lite electronic ignition system.

There was IBB-4401 and 4401S. IBB-4401A and 4401AS.

4401S was a service distributor for 4401, but 4401AS was not one for 4401A.

All had application for Ply and Dodge.

4401A did not have a Prestolite sales number, the rest did.

Date code matters and I also believe there is documentation that this was a MP over the counter distributor too.

So 48th week of 1969 would not have come stock in a 67 or 68 car. So most likely Mopar over the counter performance part.

There are two different advance curves for these. One for the 4401/S and one for the 4401A/AS.

Non have condensers as the point system was used with transignitor box.

Info from Prestolite May 1979 service manual.
