What engine? Some truck bellhousings have a dual bolt pattern for both the 833 and NP435.

should be able to just swap out the trans if bell housing has both bolt patterns. check you input spline count on the 833/435 before hefting the trans in place.

should be a direct swap if you have the correct wide hump floor pan. just need to cut the hole for 833 shifter on side of hump and use the 833 shifter boot/truck shifter/rods

you will have to scratch up a slip yoke/drive shaft the correct length as the 435 had a 2 piece splined slip yoke. 727 auto and 833 share the same slip yoke size when looking.

FYI.. sometime you have a 7260 at the 435 yoke and a 7290 at the rear yoke. when I build a shaft I use the same size joint on both ends. I prefer the 7260 u-joint as it was used the most by mopar and even behind some high HP cars. makes it easy when at the parts counter looking it up.

Well I need to check to see if i have dual pattern bell housing first ! i purchased the floor hump for the A833 because of the obvious Shifter location issue..i will probably use the OD trans.. i know the bearing retainer is the larger of the two
