Got new G60's Polyglass today, they all have lots of mold flash, will this affect the mounting of the tires or does this have to come off?

It is your choice, do what makes you happy up
I don't think those will affect the sealing on those tires on standard steel rims work twocents

No it's the part against the rim that seals but if it was mine I'd still cut it off. One of the last sets of tires i bought had it big time more towards the tread and sidewall. A quick pass with a razor blade got rid of it.

a razor blade, as stated, easily gets rid of that excess mold flash. i would remove it if it were my tire.

Update, I took it off, got the tires mounted, some of the flash was so big I was afraid it would show if it flooped the wrong way when mounted
Thanks everyone
