I know a group 27 battery can have the odyssey pc925 battery swapped inside the case of a group 27. Will the pc925 fit inside a gutted group 24 yellow cap case or is it too small? Has anyone done a group 24 conversion?

inherited a 69 roadrunner from my grand pop.

I'm wondering what's the best method for cutting the case open, and what to do with the acid & internals.

I have a 24 restoration battery here that doesn't hole a charge, but am reluctant to just toss it.

This is how I did my Group 27. The same battery should fit inside a Group 24 based on the dimensions. https://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/threads/battery-gutting.440367/#post-1972606623

PC925

Length inches (mm) 6.64 (168.6)
Width inches (mm) 7.05 (179.0)
Height inches (mm) 5.83 (127.0)

A messy job!!!
