Cleaned the bathroom. Maybe rain so the hotrod stayed in the garage. Maybe the boy will pick me up a BLT when he gets off work.

Got up, took the Challenger for a stroll over to a Sunday car show/cruise - hardly anybody was there, so came back home. Made myself some lunch, then went out & scrubbed down the deck & gave it a good rinse. Watched a few WW2 YouTube videos, & I have one of my favorite dinners to look forward to later - the wife already got the ingredients. I think my daughters & wife are heading out to get something for me. Hey - they all finally wished me a happy father's day!
And, I'm missing my dad today - first father's day without him. I love you & miss you dad.

I was going to post something about Father's Day early this morning, but thought it was a taboo subject around here as no one posted about it in 2019, and when it was posted in 2018, only 2 people replied (out of 600+ views). Nothing special in my world, just thinking about my Dad. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Kayse and I went to the Fathers Day Car Show in St.Clair MO (it's 3 miles from the house) put on by the Route 66 Car Club.
Early turnout was light, but by noon the park was pretty full. They hold it in a soccer field.
We took the 69 Dart GTS and her 06 Charger Daytona (just for display, I quit caring about car show trophies years ago).
It was a pretty good turnout, several Mopar buddies got awards.
We're back home now and her family is coming over for dinner.
Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

I put the new headliner in my Daytona. Still have to trim around the t-tops and put the whole rear of the interior back together. All this just to get the dome lights working because Cars & Concepts never hooked anything up when the car was built.
It was Father's Day?
