For what type of drag car? How fast is it in MPH at the finish line, how long is the track length and shut down area, and how much does the car weigh?

I'm going to hijack this post if you don't mind. I have the same question. I blew my master cylinder out racing and I'm looking for something a bit more heavy duty.

72 Cuda 340
95 - 100 miles/hr
1/4 mile; not sure how long the shut down area is. It wasn't very long .. hence hard braking
3,000 lbs (maybe lighter - had no interior in it at the time grin

Your issue isnt the master.. you need bigger brakes... unless you put a larger dia master on.. which is
the wrong thing.. bigger master you have to push the pedal harder to get the same pressure.. a smaller
one will apply more pressure with lesser pedal pressure

iagree Been there done that before I was aware that the same looking master cylinder could come with two different bore sizes and finding out going to bigger was not the correct way to help stop the race car on a short track tsk I found out later I had switch from a 15/16 to 1 1/8 bore size whiney
I had to almost stand on the dang brake peddle to get it to stop shock realcrazyMy current S/P bracket car has dual Willwood master cylinder with 15/16 bore size, my car has dual calipers on the rear end and stops fine at 150.MPH in the 1/4 mile, not so easy on stopping at 120.MPH in the 1/8 mile at our local track shruggy

I have no idea, they where on the car when I got it shruggy I can't remember if their four pistons or six pistons, I think the rotors are under 12.0 inch diameter. I replace the rears several years ago due to them being heat cracked a bunch so I can try and measure them. They are 11 1/4 O.D.
The car is in the trailer at the race track, I think it has the same size four piston calipers on both ends, dual calipers on the rear end. It stops fine so far, hoping to turn it up this year luck
