Well with Norwalk being closed for the year I had already entered the no box race, top bulb big money race, and no Halloween Classic for the first time in over 40 plus years. So now I gotta look around to fill the gaps. Lots of big money races at tracks I haven’t raced at for years since it may be time to hit Maple Grove and Columbus Ohio. Two nice races at Quaker City in July and August and a big money race locally at keystone.

I’ve never gone to Kil-Kare yet. I’ve never gone to Beaver springs either and they have a nice one going on this weekend. Our government kinda has my hands tied right now as I’m on like week 17 waiting for my rebate.

Beaver Springs, Mutt and Jeff Race was a good race this weekend. Got all 3 days of racing in. A little rain Thursday morning. A little rain after the finals on Friday. I didn't get past 2nd round all weekend. It was rough..., But it beat being at work!!!

Here is a time slip, lost 2nd round. Identical run under, to the 10 thousandth. But I lost with a better light, and got to the stripe 1st. Apparently the timing system goes out to the 100 thousandth., and that must have been how I lost. I went to the tower to ask how I lost.

I lost 6-19-2020 Mutt & Jeff Race.jpg

My buddy sold his ticket early last week to that race because of predicted weather. He went a few rounds at keystone yesterday and was kinda kicking himself in the butt for not going. That’s a heck of a tow for guys in this area.

It was the 1st time I ran at Beaver. Track was good. Track surface is nice also. I walked down the track on Wednesday to check it out. The owner of the track is a very nice guy. I will be going back next year , if the have the race again. I am pretty sure that they will.....
