Rich idle wet plenum floor. Fuel is trickling out to the 4 corners. Shut off the fuel pump and let it run till it starts to die and see if it stops fouling plugs

I run NGK R5671A-9 & 8s in my Indy headed race engine. 14 -1 compression. What happens is After a race day when I restart the engine next time out at least the 4 corner plugs are fouled. this has been a constant thing. I think this is all from start up . I run an old 1050 8896 dominator . The car runs and idles great. It will restart after warm up with just cranking the motor no fuel required. Any thoughts, ??? Sounds like a distribution thing in the manifold.. you could put in 8 EGTs and find out I ran 8 of the EGTs in a few of my engines

I will put this out there, as it was my experience with NGK plugs a while back......I have used them from daily driver to bracket racing and even N2O racing......My experience was when they saw too much fuel, they just plain quit. Like the added resistance to light the fuel some how made the box put out a little more juice to light them, and it burned out somthing in the plug...Mine would not come back. And like you, it was generally the same plug positions over and over. I really hated those things when I figured it out. I have tried a lot of plugs since then.....
My favorite now is the Autolite Racing Plugs AR3935 (I think thats the number) I love those things. Season after season, no issues. Fire the car in the dead of winter, fuel puddling all over the place...still lights....Now those are like an NGK7 I think, but they make an AR3934 which is an NGK8 equivalent if I remember right.
I used to buy three sets a year.....Now, I buy one set, and it lasts me two years.
I would [censored] can the plugs and try a set of these.

And I had negative issues w/Autolite but a super rich mixture will kill any plug cos it's all in the tune and my plugs live and look great after months of street driving which is WAY more critical than race only....

What I didn't like about the Autolite Racing Plugs AR3935 it would 60' better with them but mph less weird but that was the results I had.
best so far 8.53 @ 158.59 MPH 60'1.240
