Can you show the auto and 4speed cross members for a 66,67, 68 Cbody Thanks. I believe only B Body differentiates between auto and 4 speed in those years Auto and 3 speed manual are the same for all. So C body 4 speed and auto and 3 speed manual are all the same.

The crossmember is the same but the insulators are different. I don't know about 66-68, but my 65 C Body also uses the same crossmember for auto and 4 speed (but it is a one year only crossmember) and the insulator is quite wide. One application faces towards the rear and the other faces toward the front - don't remember which way the auto faces versus the 4 speed. The insulators are different because the angle must be reversed otherwise in 65 they look identical.

My 68 charger r/t 4 speed and 68 r/t auto cross members are different, exactly like in the pics above. The 4speed one does not protrude out like the auto. Just a folded lip. This is for 68.

Here you go Lou... Auto top/4spd bottom, .....if need be you can convert the auto crossmember to 4 speed use with a little surgery if that's the case?
mike Mike, Can you show the auto and 4speed cross members for a 1971 B-body? Thanks.

mike Mike, Can you show the auto and 4speed cross members for a 1971 B-body? Thanks. Sorry no pics, but IIRC the 71-2 B body uses the same crossmember auto or 4spd, much like the 70-4 E body does Mike
