I want to remove old spray paint from my 1969 Dodge Super Bee aluminum tail panel. Any advice on what to use without damaging the panel?

I’ve had pretty decent luck with this stuff. Most hardware store strippers are ineffective now IMO.

Maybe some acetone or carb cleaner? I've cleaned anodized bike parts with carb cleaner and it does not do anything to the finish as far as I can see.

I have had good luck with this:

Stipper

I used it recently on my 1970 Challenger grille and headlight bezels to remove the paint only. Does not affect the anodization or aluminum.

1970 Challenger T/A, 4-speed, EV2
1969 Super Bee, 383 / 4-speed, F8 triple green
1968 Firebird 400 / 4-speed, triple black
