A lot of the music videos were dubbed, as were a lot of TV appearances where they performed. They were REAL though - they were no Milli Vanilli BS. The Sweet were a HUGE British sensation in the UK before they hit it big over here.

I think suggesting the Sweet were real is somewhat of a stretch. Sure, no Milli Vanilli (where did that come from anyway?), but the Sweet were bubblegum. In the mid/late 1970s they demonstrated they were more than that.
