I'm still looking at acquiring 1 or 2 used eagle engines for projects, the more research I do it appears it could be cheaper to 'pay up' for something newer that has some revised parts like lifters in them.

I can't find this info anymore but I am pretty sure if you stick with 2016 and newer you are good. I think they did an updated the lifters somewhere mid 2015.
