I have a customer wanting me to rebuild his 1949 Plymouth flat head inline six cylinder, any suggestions on who to buy a good quality engine rebuild kit from and who NOT to buy from? Same thing on parts help
I'm preparing a estimate , two of them, for him. One using a master rebuilder kit and the other with individual parts.
All suggestions and comments welcome up

A quick check of Hemmings shows a couple of places:

Andy Bernbaum 800-457-1250
Roberts Motor Parts 800-231-3180

There's also a place called Egge Machine, though I don't see an ad for them.

I haven't done business with any of them, though, so can't help there.
There's another periodical called "Old Cars" that might have ads.

I appreciate the help up
I know of Egge machine in SO CA and they are expensive and don't sell or offer good or high quality parts in my opinion.
Have you or any one else on here heard of or bought parts from "Old Parts Source" in New Jersey?
If so what are your thoughts on the quality and service?
Thanks in advance again up
