A four into one spacer from Wilson will almost always pick up the power on the dyno. Usually at least 5 hp but sometimes as much as 10 or 15 hp. I always used a 2 inch spacer on the dyno but it might be hard to fit that tall of a spacer into a car unless you have a big scoop.

I don't know but my builder (Tony Bischoff - BES) told me I needed one. Motor should hit the dyno very soon.

We settled on a 1 inch. I wanted phenolic for heat insulation, and I wanted o-rings - no gaskets. He gave me some direction and this is what I came up with. Tony said it should work. shruggy

I like and use the Wilson manifold 1.5 inch tall reversion spacer for my 4500 Carb. it is worth some power on a Studka engine dyno boogie up
I think any time you increase the plenum volume on a single four barrel intake you will make more power up twocents

I tried a bunch on my 512. I am limited to 1" spacer under the carb......It ended up liking the big open spacer the best, and then I milled the clover leaf out of the intake for one big opening.....It really liked that.

The 4-hole tapered spacers typically help the 4500 intakes.

We actually make our own that have proven to be better than anything else we have run on the dyno. There are 4 of them at the dyno and they get used on almost every engine on the dyno and are always better from 5-25hp over the others..But here the thing. Many times on a dyno you can stack spacer to the ceiling and see more power, but at the track it flat don't work. Something that can work as a shear plate and spacer sized to the carbs throttle plate will usually net you some power on the dyno and track
