mattsmopars master Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 3,135 tennessee,usa	Due to the air cleaner clearance with chrome dome all 66-68 hemi cars originally would have used 3 speed wipers. Even when they changed to the airgrabber style air cleaner in 69 you still had to have 3 speed wiper motor for clearance issues. So no matter what it should be 3 speed wiper motor. topside Too Many Posts Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 20,748 A collage of whims	Neither of my '68 Hemi Road Runners had the 2-speed. One was a no-option car, except for the Hemi & 4-speed & mandatory Dana. I never checked the clearance, but supposedly the taller 2-speed wiper motor interfered with the Hemi air cleaner. It would be a rather unusual thing to change, but I suppose IF BOTH ARE PRESENT that it could be an assembly error. Either way, I'd sure check all the other Hemi-only stuff on the car, track sheet, and the #s.

I kinda knew that was the case but I stumbled across a fender tag J coded 68 GTX and thought it was odd to see the two speed wiper motor.
