I installed new control arms and coil springs on the Dakota yesterday. After dropping it on the ground, it sits very high in the front end (looks to be 1 1/2-2 " nose-high). (I removed the rear lowering blocks several days ago while waiting on the parts to arrive.) While I tossed the old springs and control arms in the back, I don't think it's enough to level it out. It now sits as high as my SIL's Pre-Runner Tacoma. Is this normal for a 2wd QC? I don't see many Dakota's around here and cannot recall seeing a 2wd QC at all so I can't compare.
Will new coil springs settle some? Or am I going to have to pull them back out and trim them some? frown
