There are also repoped booster and MC available that are very close to orig, in appearance. do you know/have any experience on these parts? appearence is secondary to funstion and we all know repop parts are not the best for functionality!

No I do not. I have stocked some original spares. What I did to my 70B, when I first got it though, is replaced the Caliper, rotors, MC, and the Metering and Proportioning valves with Part store parts. I have not had any issues. The MC and Rotors are Centrix units. The Caliper are original rebuilt units from normal auto store, the valves Inline. It all works fine. My booster and linkage all original. Proportioning valve and Distribution blocks are rebuildable, but the 70-72 B/E metering valve is not, unless you have the special tool to remove the cap assembly. Besides odd fitting, it was staked. While I know that some may have gotten them apart, not all will come apart because of the years of corrosion etc...
