Interesting. I also am using the Promax metering block on my center carb. I had them rebuild and set-up the carbs initially.

I did block the IAB on the outer carbs and the idle drops, so I'm pretty sure they add to the idle and also help to keep the fuel fresh if you never crack open the outer carbs. Do your outboards have air/fuel adjustment screws on them? Mine don't. That's why I assumed they don't have idle circuits. Old thread, but I found I put out bad info and I stand corrected. I've been advised that the outboard carbs do add fuel at idle. In fact, I had to ever so slightly crack the throttle blades open on them to lean out my idle. I also moved the IFR jet down below the fuel level, which dramatically stabilized my idle A/F ratio. I also had to lean them up a touch.

It looks like the squirter screws are not adjusted properly like Holley calls for, they recommend lengthening them until you have .015 more movement, travel to bottoming them out, at WOT on all the accelerator pump screws If it isn't that way now try fixing and go drive it If that helps then try making the center squirter bigger by the next size or two sizes bigger if needed

I added adjustable idle circuits to my mechanical carbs and plugged the weep holes.

Are you the one who posted the steps required to do this? If so, can you attach the link, please?
