No, mine don't have them . Just the center carb, I'm guessing the center adds at least 50% or more of the idle fuel with it's adjustability. I most likely will pull the carbs this week and wire the outer carb IFR then see what numbers I get.

Interesting. I also am using the Promax metering block on my center carb. I had them rebuild and set-up the carbs initially.

Got everything apart, all three carbs have a 31 IFR so I put a .009 wire in all, also went from a 5.5 to 6.5 PV, went up one on the outer carb jets to get it from 13.6 to hopefully under 13.

Do your outboards have air/fuel adjustment screws on them? Mine don't. That's why I assumed they don't have idle circuits.

Old thread, but I found I put out bad info and I stand corrected. I've been advised that the outboard carbs do add fuel at idle. In fact, I had to ever so slightly crack the throttle blades open on them to lean out my idle. I also moved the IFR jet down below the fuel level, which dramatically stabilized my idle A/F ratio. I also had to lean them up a touch.

It looks like the squirter screws are not adjusted properly like Holley calls for, they recommend lengthening them until you have .015 more movement, travel to bottoming them out, at WOT on all the accelerator pump screws scope
If it isn't that way now try fixing and go drive it twocents
If that helps then try making the center squirter bigger by the next size or two sizes bigger if needed up

I added adjustable idle circuits to my mechanical carbs and plugged the weep holes.
