Is there anything you are doing now (non-car) as a hobby or project that you are doing because you are home all the time?
I finally tilled and amended this one area I've been meaning to plant for 10 years. I might even fix that door I busted when my 2 year old locked herself in the bathroom. She's 8 now.
Trying to enjoy life!

I was in rural Missouri a couple of weeks ago doing a road trip. I shot pictures of the car in a couple of state parks that are open over there. Beautiful roads and scenery in Missouri. Picked up a copy of Lightroom and have been learning better post processing of the images I take. Started going thru 50 years worth of car magazines I have saved over the years. Cherry picking the ones I want and pitching the rest.

We have been doing a lot of projects here at our 2nd home in the mountains. Lots of painting and cleaning up the property and my garage. I installed a gas heater in the garage, new water heater and plumbing in the house, (it's a 100+ year old farm house) built two gates for the front porch so we could sit out there with the dogs and not worry about them wondering off, replaced a couple boards on the steps and other various projects. It's winding down now though so thinking about when I'm going to go back to Florida and work. I'm not sure if I want to wait another month or not, just have to play it by ear.

Not really wanting to go back to Florida but I would like to go back to work. I could work this out to just stay here but I'm not really ready to retire just yet...I think. I might change my mind when I go back.

I've been working from home for about four weeks now, my Wife has been home since the first week of March. School just got cancelled for the remainder of the school year, so her Summer break is in full swing already.
I've taken up fishing quite a bit more, we have several ponds in the neighborhood that have bass in them. Fishing isn't that great, but it's an easy way for me to kill a LOT of time for very little $$. We've cleaned closets out, the garage, done some small car projects. We really haven't left the house other than stopping at the store of grocery pickup, it sure is different.
We went from constantly having things to do and people to see with the kids to -nothing-. Sure is weird, but we're pretty well adapted now.

I'm trying to figure out how all the work from home people have all this time to do stuff. I swear I'm busier working from home than when I was in the office. I think there is this mental push to be productive that everyone is scheduling teleconferences that fill in my time I can't get my work completed. But I can say, I am picking up an hour and a half on not commuting.

i have been retired for a long time, so staying at home is nothing new. but since this was about non car related things, i have been digging out 17 forsythia bushes at the corner of the garage for the last couple of weeks. they have been there for years, and were allowed to get WAY out of control. i finally finished the stump and root ball removal last saturday, and finished sifting the dirt for left over root pieces monday. next, i get to dig up 8 or 10 more of those things, plus 4 or 5 black walnut trees between the side of the garage and the fence, so i can put up a yard shack/storage shed. i'm plum tuckered out and my old bonze hurt !

I've been working from home for several years so the whole Covid-19 thing has changed much there...
Outside of a few trips to Lowe's and the market today is 42 days at home...
Been knocking projects down left and right but the cold weather isn't helping very much...
Picked up about 30 new perennials for planting but as of now they're still in the house...
All the planting beds are edged...cleaned and waiting on warmer temps to plant and then mulch everything...
All the power washing is done...
I've cut the grass 3 times...
I most recently tore out an old half-a$$ed set of steps and replaced them...
Also added a hose reel instead of it laying on the ground...
I got a load of dead fall I need to haul off and add some topsoil in a few areas...
When the temperature comes up I have some staining I can do...
...FAFO...

Weather has been absolute crap here. Ordered a video card off of eBay and got back into PC gaming. Currently playing through Fallout 4 for a second time since the quarantine started. Decided on a Brotherhood of Steel play through for the second time - did Minutemen the first time. War never changes.
