I'd like to add a pistol grip shifter to my 833 OD in my 83 Ram. Which one is the right application. I remember a member put one in his years ago. SandyinNS formerly known as drdodge340 is the guy I remember, but I can't find his old posts on it. Any help guys/gals? Also, any recommendations on a new shifter/rod assembly? Mine's worn and sloppy.

I'm only guessing, but I would think a 70 B body bench seat shifter handle might work. If you don't need one that tall, maybe a 71 B body bench seat handle?

I had a '82 Dodge with the 833 OD, I used a '70 B body shifter in it. Worked good for me.

I had a 70 B non console handle in my 92 D350 5-spd.

After looking at moparmarks picture, I assume you used the console version? Any chance you have a pic of your setup?

I did it a little different, whittled a piece of aluminum to take factory grips and threaded it onto the factory stick. '92 D350.

I dont have any pictures, but it was the non console version.
