Anyone know if 5.7/6.1 Gen 3 Hemi rods have any offset?

If so, how much?

Thanks

I am trying to figure out the exact differences between the old and new Hemi motor. Only real difference in internals I can see is a larger bore and block reinforcement. Intake and heads are slightly different too but not earth shattering.
Would it be possible to bore out a 5.7L and use the 6.1L internals? If the 6.1 comes with forged internals it could be a cheap man's way of making a FI capable 6.1L out of the 5.7L. Heck, I did it with a GM motor ( 5.3 to 6.3 ) and am willing to experiment if so..

6.1 stuff still commands a premium, I would think it'd be more cost effective to buy the MMX forged drop in internals for the 5.7.

And there's guys making 6-700rwhp with the stock internals....maybe not for the long term but depending on your power goals an eagle 5.7 might be enough.
