It's either my 30 year old msd 6a or the coil. the coil reads 0.4 on the primary and 22.68k off the secondary. Since I live in the Detroit area I don't feel like making a trip out and Mancinni's showroom is closed. thoughts on the ohm readings on the coil? Thanks!

Call Mancini maybe they have the specs on this coil. Not sure if Firecore is in business.

Aurora, Oh.
Those are just a GM coil in a different wrapper. I have heard there have been any issues with those.

I have one of those....new in the box. I went and took some readings :

Primary : 1.2 ohm
Secondary : 22.4 Kohm

I'd say yours is fine.
