YO7_A66 OP master Y Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 5,443 Indiana	I am reworking an old carb of mine (650cfm, [ 0-80783C? The numbers have been ground off in the past], vacuum secondary, and I have a question. On the base plate there is a jet (45?) that is connected to the round hole on the side (purple). It appears to be a vacuum port or a purpose vacuum leak. Can someone explain what this port is used as? Thank you, Dave Last edited by YO7_A66; 04/06/20 07:41 AM.

mopowers master M Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,009 Sac, CA	It's only the electric choke i think. Manual choke carbs have a plate that blocks that hole on the side of the carb.
