This might be an old subject but I need a bump steer kit for a 72 A body Mopar with stock front suspension. Car is used for drag racing and must retain stock front suspension to be legal. Tie rod assemblies can be changed. I know about lowering the steering box and idler arm which have been done. Have also heard of shimming the lower ball joint which I have not. Hotchkis seems to be the only one to make a kit but was looking for other sources or info. Thanks in advance, Rick

I used these. The Pinto taper is the same as Mopar. You may have to take a little off the bottom of th eballjoint where the outer tie rod set. You want it to set only on the taper, Not the hex. I ground about .060" off my Belvedere. I used 5/8"x18 threaded tube and cut the stock tie rod sleeves in half. Welded the tube over the remaining half of the sleeve. Mopar uses oddball 9/16 tie rod threads so you have to adapt. Blow up the picture and you can see.
