Seems like an odd build to me, but I guess it's a cruiser/show car thing ?
The car's very clean, but to me the interior is odd. And light grey carpet is asking for trouble !
The steelies point to a Maxie clone, but the rest of the car doesn't back that up; it's an entirely different direction.
And a Gen 1 Hemi ? eyes

I agree with topside though it looks like a poly motor. He'd be blessed to get half that though it is very nice.

Call me skeptic, but I'd have to see a receipt for $13K for interior work before I MIGHT believe it. I can believe, "My buddy is an interior guy, and I painted his car (in trade for this interior work ($13K value)". I'd believe, "I own an upholstery shop and this was my showpiece".

I just have a hard time thinking somebody went to a shop, said he wanted a top-of-the-line interior, was quoted $13,000 and said, "will you take a check?"

Bill, only a grand ?! eek
I had over $1500 in my '64 wagon - NOS seat covers, carpet, door weatherstrips, re-dye door cards.
My '63 needed pretty much every square inch replaced, refinished, replated, carpeted rear deck...quit counting at about $4,500...

To me, a car's interior is part of the styling & vintage aura.
The car for sale looks like just another street rod inside.
I'd have put the money into restoring original/stock appearance, upgrading brakes & suspension...
And probably a streetable stroker Maxie setup, with that wicked-cool exhaust, because I bumped my head as a kid laugh2

Ifin you got no heater hoses, who needs any heater controls? It says it's a southern car, just doesn't say how far South.

July 19th should be "Drive Like Rockford Day". R.I.P. Jimmie.

Heater hoses are run along the passenger side of the engine between the intake and the valve cover and it looks like the controls are still in the dash spot. Temp lever and one button and fan switch.
