I purchased the Carter FP from a member here to replace to POS Auto Zone one on my 68 Charger ( 383). Looks like I need some fittings... anyone now what and where I can order?

those fittings are available at any hardware store. Just take the pump with you and match them up.

Which pump are you going to use? Left, or right?

It's been a lot of years since I retrofitted the "Hemi" pump. IIRC, the pump uses NPT fittings, for the supply you'll need the appropriate NPT to 5/16" female flare nut adapter. The fuel return is much easier, NPT to 1/4" barbed fitting. I'm sorry I don't recall the sizes for sure, I "think" they're 3/8" NPT?

The Carter high volume mechanical race pump I bought maybe fifteen years ago had straight thread (not tapered pipe) in the pump inlet and outlet, and came with fittings that used copper gaskets to seal them to the pump body. My pump came with two different styles of fittings, one set that adapted to AN lines, and another set to use with inverted flare lines. My pump looked a lot like the pump you show on the right.

Are you talking about unscrewing the pipe plug that is under the fuel pump mounting boss?
If so you need the proper size allen head wrench or socket scope

I think this is what you need on the outlet to the carb: Weatherhead (Eaton) 202X5. Straight Adapter - 1/8 in Male Pipe Rigid x 5/16 inch Female Inverted Flare.

Please Note: I have edited this post. The information above is incorrect. The Weatherhead (Eaton) 202X5 pictured below IS NOT correct for a Carter M6903. It is correct for a Carter M4845.

If you have the directions that came with the pump, read them carefully. The aluminum castings can crack easily if you use Teflon tape when installing your fittings to the pump body. Teflon tape is a no no. Seal them another way and don't overtighten.

Teflon is not a problem I use it all the time. Leave the first thread exposed and wrap it tight with no more than two wraps. You can use a paste sealant also. If your cracking pumps you must be tightening them like a Gorilla.
