There is plug under the drivers side kick panel for the console wiring Not now there is not due to the car being totally apart and now going together. Looking at what I have the dome light plugs into the main harness at the kick panel there is no other plug. However I can see unplugging the dome and plugging in the console wiring as there are male and female plugs on the console harness that would allow them to all plug in.. So if that's the case where were the wires run from the kick panel area to the console. I would like to run them like the factory did.

The console wiring piggybacks into the dome lamp wiring connector and that works the console side lights. Then there should be a single orange wire running from the fuse box to work the shift indicator light. If your car didn't have a console originally, you will need to run that wire to have the shifter lamp work. The wiring runs down the inner rocker panel,at the end of the 1st foldover cover, the console wiring exits there. It then runs across the floor pan to the base of the console.they originally had clips holding the wire down you should be able to fab something or use duct tape.

I may be wrong but would this be the correct wiring Terry,I believe that is a 68 and down harness as they had the reverse switch inside the console not on the transmission.

Don't know what that extra plug would go.. The long one on the right early b-body Clock??? Early B-body console clocks had two female and one male bullet style ends. This particular harness is the 66 Charger clock wiring, clock ends shown top right
