When you got your paycheck, about the first 3/4 of the employees were OK, after that, it was pretty sketchy if your check was good or not. If it wasn't good, the company made it good with interest by Tues the next week. the moral of that story? Cash that check as soon as its in your hands! My wife and my check will be direct deposit, I don't think they can reverse that....... Hopefully. Most of ours will go into a savings account in case there is a future need. Gene.

Is it likely, no, but it is possible. This is one of the reasons they require so much personal info to open an account, they want to be able to find you if your account goes negative for reasons beyond your control, like a reversed payment. Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

Had to listen to my gainfully employed buddy who is married but his wife doesn’t work boasting the other night that he’s going to get $2400. Which coincidentally is approximately what I guesstimate I’ll owe the IRS when the accountant finishes doing my taxes.
