Bought this for my son's collection back when he was in elementary school or junior high, can't remember...but anyway...check this out, neat error or what? Do you see it? Always thought it was interesting.

From what I can tell in the pics, it's looks like a 69 Dodge Super Bee body with a 69 Plymouth A12 Road Runner front clip.

I've never had it out of the box but it looks like its got a Coronet (Super Bee) front end and a Super Bee stripe...it may just be an A12 Bee in a Roadrunner box...interesting. Cleaning out boxes after the move, thought it was a cool find I'd never noticed before. up

I have a couple matchbox cars.. Both Daytona's. Both same part number, collector series etc.. They have different wheels. One has a turbo type wheel and the other slotted mags.. Kevin

Looks to me like it's got an A12 style hood scoop, but shows a regular RR hood on the box too.

Let's see obviously the A12 big scoop hood with 1969 Road Runner hood stripes. A Super Bee tail stripe, appears to have the Super Bee side depressions for the side scoops on the rear quarter panel. No front fender or rear quarter Road Runner highlight body styling so it is IMO and others a Dodge Super Bee. Does it have a Super Bee grill and rear tail lights and trunk?? Nice find and yes it's a one of one except for the fact that they probably made thousands of them by mistake or lack of knowledge laugh2 Still a two thumbs up find up up

An interesting story about Johnny Lightening company. Back in the mid-90's I was advertising & selling VHS movies (original Vanishing Point, Bullitt, Bad Georgia Road, etc.), & the owner of Johnny Lightening bought one of each from me. He must be a true car-nut like the rest of us. I just thought it was cool. *This was back when movies like these were not found for sale anywhere, & if you tried to order one from a movie rental store - well - good luck. So I found out who the distributors of these were & arranged to buy direct. I sold so many VP videos, the warehouse in CA. ran out & had to make more for me. I also thought that was cool. Then, the big box stores started carrying these - hmmmm - wonder what I started? Then they buried me.
