I believe I saw something about theCity for L.A. banned all events with more than 250 peeps and has CLOSED all the parks. Is Woodley a city park? Not trying to stir the pot but According to the City of LA they have banned gatherings of 50 or more on city properties. Hopefully the CPW crew is looking into this. Also, FYI. Don’t make motel reservations on any of the online sites likeTravelocity. They sometimes don’t grant refunds. Better to reserve a room directly through the hotel. From a promoters standpoint, seems like you could go almost down to the wire before a voluntary cancel. Not sure what deposits, insurance, etc costs that would forfeit.
The main issue would seem to be how much ill will with attendees that would generate. I would guess anything less then a weeks cancellation notice would be a negative.
So wait it out?
No reason to cancel early, unless postponing.
Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

No reason to cancel early, unless postponing. Their problem is availability of the park. They have to compete for times throughout the spring and fall for use of the park. Goodguys in Ft Worth was canceled the day before it was scheduled. I’m sure there were some unhappy campers.

LA County just announced they are shut down until April 19th...not looking good. We'll see what happens in a month. We are going to try to contact them today. We want to give people fair warning. More than 1 week before show. Steve CPW club president
