I don't really know why (other than maybe some tinfoil hat theories) but the worldwide press still has some hype powers. let's have a discussion on this in a couple of weeks about what really didn't happen as far as the actual virus goes.......I have no doubt of some lingering economic (some real and some falsely blame) setback. let me ask, do you know of anyone personally that has/had a confirmed case of the china/corona/wuhann/covid flu? I've asked that question multiple times in multiple different live chats with 7000+ viewers and it's been the same answer "no, not personally" (and I hope that answer continues) Have any of you flown across the country and picked up USA Today or NYT newspapers with different headlines depending on where your at?

Maybe the NHRA show on FS1 this weekend will be all Sportsman classes?
I hope so.
Might be the only silver lining there is, except the Indycar race this weekend. As much as I would like that it would surprise me. I did see an announcement that NHRA.TV would be free Friday when all the Sportsman classes (Comp and below) would be run. However I don't see any signs of that at the NHRA.TV site.

[/quote] Sorry guys, sounds like the same argument against climate change, when some ask for definitive proof, and only acceptable "proof" being main street being under 12' of water. I don't plan on being one of the buried to provide it, each to their own. Catch 22, because if maximum precautions are taken, the death toll will be hopefully and relatively small, and afterwards many will gloat, " see we told you all it was hype", and if the response is cavalier, many will not be around for the survivors to spout, "See, I told you it was serious" Choice is clear to me.
Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

In Germany they shut down nearly all schools, all major public festivals are canceled or postponed. boarders are closed. This is happening in whole europe right now.
From monday on I will do homeoffice as most of my team members wil do so. Am I afraid? No, not for me but for old and weak people as there is no vaccis for this.
And Covid spreads fast. Incubation time is 5-10 times longer in comparison to a regular flu virus. That makes it more dangerous. Is it overhype in media? I say yes.
Esp the panic in the news. Toilet paper became gold standart. They all buy pasta, flour, canned soup and tons of toilet paper. Guess it is needed if you try to surive with
Pasta, flour and soup only :-)
So far no race has been postponed or cancled...hope it stays like this as we have only a few in Germany

This is just my opinion but I think this crap has been around for a lot longer than they are telling us. I personally know of several people in my community that have been sick with what doctors have diagnosed as "Pneumonia" "Bronchitis" or the "Seasonal flu" for months. One of my neighbors who works in the healthcare industry has been sick for quite awhile too.
Honestly I been feeling off for a few weeks too so I guess I will have to self quarantine in the garage and keep working on the Dart.
