Finishing up the swap into the Dakota and went to fire it up to fill it with coolant. Ran for about a minute and died. Has spark at plug and good pressure at rail. It will start by pouring gas into throttle body. No codes. If my feeble mind is remembering correctly, isn't this a bad crank sensor? Tim

Thanks, Jim, appreciate the help. From what I can find online, I should have 12v at the injector w/ key on/start and the ground pulse coming from the PCM? If I have the 12v at the injectors, my problem then is the ground side? What triggers the PCM to ground the injectors? Online diagrams are hard to follow, at least to me. Never can seem to find a decent one. Tim

The distributor pickup plate. The Hall effect pickup under the plate specifically is what batch fires the injectors.

Do you have 12v with the key in Start 1 & Start 2 positions? Check all your grounds.
