I'm not sure if it's a 70 vs 71 thing or not. My 71 Challenger convertible (Dec 1970) has the screw in the bottom of the seal on both sides. See photo. Terry

A couple of thoughts I just had. Is mine a leftover set of seals from 1970 or maybe the 70 seals did not do as well and for 1971, they added the screw to better attach it to the body for better sealing and to prevent the seal from being torn up at the bottom? Just some thoughts. If they're reproduced ,I'll buy a set or two. Thanks. Terry
