fun episode. My first assigned ride was a worn out Mercury Broughm. Faded paint, non police package. Had that for a couple more years. we have "take-home" cars. It was embarrassing to drive and even have in the driveway.

No desire to find one of those and sink money into a restoration.

Police packaged vehicles were too expensive for Chicago to purchase..We always have the stripped down, no optioned cars. In the 90's, all our "Bubble Chevy's were V6 with A/C.

0 to 60 in a minute or so...At least we have Exploders now with a lot of interior space...

Looking for affordable 72-74 Cuda parts

That was an enjoyable video. I was hoping it was a 383 I must admit.

Only non package cars we ever had were Explorers before they had a Police Package. Not many either. Now SUV's are all the rage (I'm not a fan myself and will stick with sedan) so Exploders are what we have. Next round will be Hybrids. We'll see how those hold up. The current ones have poor body integrity. Early rust on body panels.

Facts are stubborn things.
