floyd OP master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 4,114 MD	I was looking at a couple 71-74 340 RH manifolds (cast # 3418623) today and noticed a difference between the 71 casting and later castings. Looks like they beefed up the castings on the outside ports at some point. 71 part has an 11/6/70 date 72 part has an 11/9/71 date

Cab_Burge I Win C Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 43,097 Bend,OR USA	All these pictures are of 318 manifolds, not 340 All the early, pre 1972, 340 exhaust manifolds I've seen, 30 pairs or more, have the center port dividers in them, the 318 don't have them Also the 340 R/H 1968 to 1971 exhaust manifolds are longer and dump out to the rear, not straight down like the 318 manifolds do Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
