I usually rent a couple of spots due to accumulated parts from customers cars. In front of the first spot " IF YOU NEED IT I DON"T, Make a reasonable offer."

The second sign says "Will be unloading what doesn't sell at the DUMP on the way home"

It's funny to watch the people scan the signs and then turn around for a second look. And like you I usually get rid of about 90% of what I take beer

Sounds like all the extra 273 stuff that I had leftover after selling the car. Good thing I gave Joe the original motor from the car and I knew where you could get it...

I've got a few parts that buyers aren't stepping forward on, but nothing that's too big or hard to store. I did finally scrap the 325 poly heads and intake, though.

Hard to believe that.
No interest in the CAR or the PRICE?
Or maybe Both?

Asking price is factoring in 5-10% negotiating room. The car is a trophy winner at just about every show I put it in, including best of show at one of the area CMC Mopar shows out of 125-150 cars that were there. I’ve had only 2 guys I’d consider serious contact me in 3 years it’s been advertised, other than that an occasional flipper, broker or Nigerian scammer is all the response I’ve gotten. Is the market dropped such that this is now only a $50K car? If so I’ll keep it, and hopefully get off my butt and move out of this state soon like I’ve wanted to, and my new place will have room for more cars.

I think it just boils down to market price versus market value. Many of the BJ auction projected market values make musclecar owners think they can get that for their car. Now if you really want to sell it for what it's really worth put it up for auction with no reserve.
I am a realist that believes something is only worth what another party is willing to pay for it twocents
I sell my swap meet stuff at giveaway prices just because I don't want it back in my garage even though I paid twice what I sold it for.

I hope you get market price for your car but I wouldn't hold my breath in this current economic climate shruggy
Here's my $450.00 Savoy that I have about $15,000 in parts added that I would be hard pressed to get my money back out of it so I keep it forever,28 years so far and still love driving it biggrin

Heard a story about a guy that had an extra clothes dryer that was clean and in working condition that he wanted to get rid of. He put it out in front of his house with a sign that said "FREE". When it was still there a few days later, he put a sign on it that said "$20" and it disappeared.

I had something similar happen. When I first met my now ex-wife, she had this huge by large side by side '70's style fridge that she was trying to get rid of. We got it to the curb and slapped a 'FREE' sign on it, nothing. I pushed it behind the house, waited a few days, then put it back on the curb with a $50 sign on it. That sucker was gone in under a half hour. And what made it funnier, we were home and heard it being taken, they moved FAST, REAL FAST. laugh2 All we heard was 'wham, boom, clank' and the sound of a diesel taking off at a good clip. laugh2

i ended up with several pressure tanks of unknown contents in a leftover rummage sale purchase i made. there were 3 really high end carbon fiber bicycles and some really nice parts i wanted. and i had to take the rest of the junk that didn't sell if i wanted the bikes. i placed them on my front lawn with a bunch of other stuff with a free sign. everything but the tanks disappeared. they sat there for a week with no takers. i put them in my garage for 2 weeks and again put them on my front lawn. this time with a $300 price tag on them. they disappeared that night.

I've been lucky. Other than a handful of things, I've been able to sell just about everything I wanted/needed to. I price stuff pretty cheap most of the time if I just want to get rid of it. For example, I sold my 2002 Impala in 2014...166k, abs/trac light on, rusty fenders and rockers. Asked $1,500, got $1,300 for it in less than 2 hours.

Even stuff that, prior to the internet, I would've just tossed, I've been able to sell. When we bought a new aquarium for our box turtle, we didn't need the lights that came with the tank. Put them on Craigslist as soon as we got home and opened he box. $20. Sold in an hour. Changed out all of the light fixtures in our house, put the old ones on CL for $50, gone in 2 hours.

Earning every penny of that moderator paycheck.

This^^^ I have a $750 B'cuda that is the same. I have quit spending money on it because I know I will never get it back....ever. I have a complete blast with the car...it's a hoot to drive drive but will likely never bring what I have in it and I don't care. Needs tons of trim upgrades but I refuse to spend the $$$$ to do them(lots of 1 year only trim)...not worth it. Most swaps I attend folks think their stuff is worth gold then [censored] about taking it home with them. I am also a realist.......ANYTHING is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it......the real estate bust back in 08-09 should have proved that.

Dang; that's a nice color for me, 4-speed to boot!. With your 5-10% wiggle room & asking $, surprising not more serious inquiries. It boggles the mine sometimes to figure what buyers "want" wrt muscle cars these days. Has it "boiled down" to ONLY Hemi cars that "spike" any serious interest? Or ONLY the 100% OEM Factory Documented Gold samples? Or that all the others are just to "expensive" to enjoy (drive) once "restored-rebuilt"?. If those are the cases today, and for immediate future; than "Hobby" is in for "An Awakening", in the bad sense as has been discussed.
