(Quote} When i rock the pistons like that they all seem to be the same but they do possibly stick up above the deck surface a hair. They are basically all at o when they are flat. They dont rock much in the hole. [/quote] Your thinking is normal before you measure them, .003 to even as much as .010 is hard to see and feel. To get actual results between them you need to measure them with depth mike, maybe even a set of dial calipers if your real careful using them or a dial indicator on the edges. I've learn to many stupid lessons on Hi Po motors by NOT making sure on measurements like these Be safe and make sure your good before taking any chances

They actually had a smaller combustion chamber then the Trick Flows.

So looking at the differences between heads could anyone tell me if it worth the extra money to go to the Titanium retainers? Also could anyone tell me if my cam says .660 lift with 1.5 rockers what it would be with 1.6 or 1.7? Also the differences in the springs go from 1.55 Dia. and say good for .680 lift and the 1.56 dia springs say good for .700 lift. and the tech said that was for solid roller cams.

Should've paid attention on math class the day when they did ratios and proportions!

Thank you I wonder if I could put these heads on right otb if they would work with my cam and 1.6 rockers. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/tfs-6161t784-c01I know there is better ways to do it but im not that smart.

I have built a few, I always check the valve to piston clearance. One of the main problems is I have no cam card and don't know exactly what the cam is for sure. The info listed was the info I got when I bought the cam. I built this 500 and been running it for 9 years with one refresh a year ago. I wouldn't say i'm clueless but I am missing some info and some money so I don't have a lot to spend. I am very great full for all the great information. I guess I have been very lucky on the last few engines that they even ran!

Maybe i need to start with a new cam and bring the heads in and have them setup for the cam. Possibly mill them down to get a little more compression.
